feeding growth

conflict without casualties | nate regier, pHd

To feed development, I started reading Conflict without Casualties. This book is a great tool for any leader looking to improve conflict skills (which honestly, who doesn’t need?). As someone who needs a solid paradigm for healthy conflict, this book is great for laying out simple groundwork on healthy vs. unhealthy conflict. It describe each kind in depth and the kinds of “roles” we adopt.

Not only will you read how to avoid unhealthy conflict, but also see useful tools for implementing healthy conflict instead.

Feeding the spirit

damon thompson ministries | damon thompson

To feed my need to grow spiritually, one source I love is listening to Pastor Damon Thompson. He used to minister at The Ramp in Hamilton, Alabama and has since moved to South Carolina where he lives.

His messages primarily consist on various theological and Biblical concepts and his devotion to God.

feeding self-awareness

The sleeping at last podcast | Ryan O’NeaL of Sleeping at Last

To feed the need to understand my makeup (and doing this through study of the Enneagram), I listen to The Sleeping at Last Podcast. If you’ve heard his covers, Atlas originals, or now famed Enneagram songs, you know that Ryan O’Neal is a highly talented musician. He breaks down how he writes, composes, and records his songs including his songs dedicated to each Enneagram type.

He has an episode per song, and if you’re old or new to the Enneagram, I don’t doubt you’ll enjoy hearing the songs and how they came to be. He also features The Sacred Enneagram author Christopher L. Heuertz in each episode to explain each type.
